I am a big Sherlock Holmes fan, so when I got to tour the Sherlock Holmes Museum I thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. This is me standing outside the museum on Baker street with a constable. I'm wearing Holmes' hat and smoking his pipe.
I found me a boyfriend with big muscles!
I got to see Les Mis in London. It was amazing! I loved every second of it. They had it set up really well--the staging and costumes were excellent. This is one of my favorite musicals, but this is the first time I've seen it.
I also got to see Wicked! It was stellar! I have loved the music for a long time and it was amazing to see it and learn the whole story. It was amazing!
I went to Queen Mary's Rose Garden. It is so beautiful. I almost forgot I was in the middle of a large city. These are some of my favorite flowers in the garden.

This waterfall runs in the middle of the garden. It was really breathtaking.
Some of my friends and I got a ride from this guy through the streets of London. It was great fun, but I thought I might die once or twice because he whipped through traffic so fast :)
Muncaster Castle was my favorite castle. They have an amazing library inside full of books from all ages--some of them are probably as old as the printing press.
The scenery is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is green and beautiful. There are sheep grazing everywhere.
This is Castlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick, northern England. It is what is left of an ancient religious worshiping area.
We have been studying William Wordsworth as one of our poets for course credit. We got to see the churchyard where he is buried in Grasmere. His whole family is there.
This is Wordsworth's house. We got to tour it. They have a lot of the original furnishings inside including the desk he often worked at.
This is Balmoral Castle, home-away-from-home for the Royal Family. I saw the Queen--she drove right past us on her way to church. She was wearing a red dress.
This is Braemar Castle. We toured it and had a great time. It was so cold inside I had to wear my coat! I can't imagine living there in the middle of winter.
This is the inside of a really old church in a tiny village in Northern England. The wood holding up the ceiling apparently came from ancient viking ships--thats how old this church is!
This is the stained-glass window in the little church. It was so beautiful. I didn't get a good shot of the outside of the church, but I did get some fun ones inside.
I saw so many really neat churches, but this one is another of my favorites. It had a neat cemetary outside.
This is me sitting off to the side of the trail getting ready to eat my lunch. We were climbing up Ben Lomand.
This cow is different than any I have ever seen!
This is Iverary Castle. It was a really fun one to tour. There is so much history to these castles!
I took this pic in Oban, a fishing village on the coast. It was really beautiful there.

Oh my heck, Jen! I am so jealous! I love the crazy cow picture. Also, the one of you with the pipe. Very classy. It sounds like you had the time of your life over there :) Well...we need to hang out and you can tell me more about your adventures!
